Michele Thompson, founder of Outstanding Events, has been in the hospitality and meetings industry for over 30 years, when she first joined the Marriott Corporation. She has worked in all aspects of the hotel industry, with her focus on Convention Sales and Service Management.
Wanting to put her expertise to work for many corporations, she established Outstanding Events, Inc. in 1998. A Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Ms. Thompson remains active in the South Florida Chapter of Meeting Professionals International, where she has served on the Board of Directors in the capacity of Membership Chair, Newsletter Editor and on the Professional Development Committee.
